FISH & CHIPS ...  PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT ... SATURDAY 29TH FEBRUARY 2022



A massive thank you to Keith and Linda for putting on another fun evening.  Fish and Chips were great and the fun game and banter was very light hearted.  So lovely to see many of our club members able to join in.

 Sam and Liv certainly added a professional vibe to the evening.

  Again another great night thanks to everyone.





Saturday 20th November 2021

What a lovely evening we all had last night.  Young and old all together  -  our long awaited get together was a definite success.  Thank you so much Keith and Linda for putting on our ever favourite Fish & Chip and Bingo evening.   Also thank you so much for everyone who helped on the evening, especially Sam who, quietly went about clearing away our food boxes after the meal and everyone who helped make it happen.  We couldn't do it without you all. 

After such a difficult time for us all it was perfect to see everyone chatting, laughing, winning a bit and enjoying a cheeky tipple. 

Cant wait to see you all soon.  Don't forget if you want to continue your chats with friends join us at our Christmas Party on Saturday 11 December at Pines Golf Club.  Details can be found on our facebook or website or through club members and, of course messenger and the good old telephone call    Diane  xxx

O I so enjoyed chatting with our President last night - John Bennett. It was interesting hearing how the club started so many years ago and the history behind it. John and Vi you are so supportive and enthusiastic about the club . Lovely too that Vi keeps up to date with what we are doing through Facebook .

It definitely was a "full house" lovely to meet new people and have a giggle and make new friends. thank you for your support.

Friends of friends all together - Lots of lucky winners who went away with a pound or two and a bottle of wine . Hope you enjoyed your evening.

The last bingo evening was such a success we've managed to squeeze another social evening before Christmas. Book your ticket for Saturday 15 November 2019.

What an interesting and informative evening's talk we all enjoyed when Paul Hooper shared his knowledge and experiences of his long association with the Club. We all went away totally inspired and looking forward to all the forthcoming events we have lined up over the next twelve months or so. Another perfect evening. Thank you to everyone who organised our social evening at Monmore Green Dogs Stadium.

 Hope you all agree, the food, the racing and the company was excellent. If you didn't manage to come this time hope you make it next time. Look out for details of future events. 

To help the Club during these difficult times we are going to do a weekly lottery for members and their friends

 Numbers will be 1-50. The winning number will be the first bonus ball draw on National Lottery Saturday draws. 

One winner each week will receive 50% of the lottery win - ie 50 numbers winner received £25 and £25 goes to Club funds

BINGO AND RAFFLE EVENING
FRIDAY  15 NOVEMBER 2019  
We have managed to squeeze another social evening in before Christmas.  This time a change of venue to The Pines Golf Club, Bewdley.  This is a more accessible venue and we will be serving basket meals.  Please book in advance if you require food.  The cost is £6.00.  Hope as many of you as possible can attend -  there's even going to be a chance to join in with a little line dancing to get you all in the mood for Christmas.  call to reserve, email or messenger.  See you there.  Diane  07734761047 
Thank you so much for everyone who supported the club last night. Another winner for us all. I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Personal thank you to Keith, our social secretary, for putting together another fabulous night. Also a big thank you to Bewdley Pines Golf Club who really fed us well. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us at the Fish & Chip & Bingo night last night at the Queens in Wolverley. What a good turnout for the Club. A good night was had by all - especially for those who went away with a few pounds more than they came with !! Thank you too to the Social Secretary Keith and his wife Linda and everyone who participated in making this evening such a success. Look out for more social events coming up over the next months. Dont forget the big one is our Christmas Party on the 21 December at the Pines Golf Club, Bewdley - still time to book but dont leave it too long as tickets are selling fast.
